Here at 9-2-3 Jobs, we were reflecting on just how much our workplaces have changed in recent years, and how those businesses not offering hybrid or remote working felt pretty old fashioned (yet "everyone in the office" was the norm just 3 years ago!).

So we've thought hard about how best to help businesses to choose the right flexible option for them and their teams in such a changing landscape. We think it's really important to have open and honest discussions about what works and what some people find more challenging, to help you to forge your own path to success.

That's why on the 13th September, from 9am to 12 noon, we'll be hosting "Flex: A Whole New World" at the fantastic social enterprise Tap Social Taproom in Botley, Oxford.

It's a totally free event, with inspirational speakers (see the line-up below). We'll be hearing from companies who have won awards for their remote working strategies, organisations who've trialled (and adopted) a four day working week, and firms who've found that part time hybrid workers can work for them.

Crucially, though, we won't be shying away from the nitty gritty - where there have been teething troubles, or things that didn't work, it's important that we all discuss these openly too.

It's a great opportunity to meet other like minded professionals in Oxford, and we hope it'll be interesting and engaging. We can also promise there'll be good pastries - we've already tried them!

In sharing our experiences, and exchanging our stories, we can develop our collective wisdom, support one another and make our organisations happier, more productive places.

So please do come and along and join us!
